"We're saving $6,000 a month and talk about reliable!  It took 120   days before we saw a single CRC error."  [Customer quote].

Why microwave? In this economy, we're all challenged to cut operating costs and so imagine if you could eliminate your biggest monthly telecom bill? How much would that save you? If you're paying too much for leased lines or struggling with a slow connection, then let us conduct a free evaluation of your microwave options.

David Theodore, Pres.

Why "licensed" microwave? Think of licensed microwave as any other point-to-point wireless, except that instead of sharing the same frequencies with everyone else (2.4 & 5.8 GHz, etc.), you get your own distinct frequencies. That means that for however long you run your link, no one will bump you off the air - period.

Licensed microwave is the highest form of wireless technology - it's ultra-reliable, maintenance-free and found in the most critical networks; in healthcare, business, in major telco networks - even missile launch sites. And don't let the licensing aspect dissuade you.  Licensing is easy and costs only $3,650 per link. We manage the process and guarantee FCC approval in 90-days.

microwave radio products

Why buy from Meridian?
Have you noticed that product sheets from competing microwave vendors all look the same?  Radio specs and mechanical designs are hard to tell apart, yet one vendor may charge twice as much as the next.  The differences are in the nuances that only become apparent when you're working with the product
.

For instance, we recently found that a vendor's "adaptive rate modulation" doesn't actually adapt automatically. You have to set it manually - like each time you expect a big rainstorm to pass! Another vendor's "extended range" product falls shockingly short of the distance it claims, and the maker finally conceded the point against a mountain of compelling data. Think they'll tone down their marketing claims?

And then there's the part of how the product will work on your particular connection, whether you're shooting across a river, going off a busy co-lo roof or in an area prone to 80 mph wind gusts.  What we do best is to sort through all this to deliver the results you need, and the added benefit is that we'll empower you to understand more of what you're reading and hearing.

We deliver on our promises because we've been in the microwave business a long time and love what we do.  In our early years as Microwave Bypass, we delivered the first wireless Ethernet link and since then we've been involved in thousands of applications. Every job is different, every challenge unique, and we look forward to yours.

We strive to deliver the ultimate in performance and payback, featuring state of the art radios from leading makers like BridgeWave, Ceragon Networks and Trango Wireless.
We provide turnkey installations and 24/7 support for the East Coast and partner with qualified friends in other U.S. regions. So enjoy our web site, let us know if we can help you - and please send this page to a friend!

* COMBINED RADIOS: Where radios are combined onto a single antenna ("dish"), they function as physically separate paths, each with their own distinct frequencies and so short of a building-wide power outage, whatever effects one link has no impact on the other. Therefore, when radios are combined, they act as redundant channels to each other. Switchover is effected by the network switch or router.
