Meridian Microwave offers technical support programs to meet every need. Our recommendations are tailored to the critical nature of your WAN connection, taking into account any backup provisions as may exist.
SUPPORT OPTIONS
Telephone Support
Responsive (1-hour), highly qualified engineering telephone support for assistance in problem verification and troubleshooting.
Advanced Component Replacement
Provides advanced overnight component replacement during the contract period (1-5 years). This is a popular and highly recommended program, as cost-effective as it is convenient. Typical cost is 3% of equipment cost for year one and 6% for subsequent years.
Extended Warranty (Parts & Factory Labor)
Extends the original factory parts and labor warranty for renewable one-year periods. This is a popular option for preventing unbudgeted out-of-pocket expenses.
On-Site, Per-Diem Support
Meridian engineers are available on a per-diem, pay-as-you-go basis. This is an economic alternative to a fixed price annual support agreement, since no cost is incurred unless an on-site visit is made. The downside is that per-diem support is on an availability basis, therefore we recommend it only for those who are self-sufficient or who have sufficient backup to withstand a microwave outage.
On-Site Support with 4-Hour Response

Scheduled Maintenance
While our microwave radios are maintenance-free and remotely manageable, a small percentage of our customers ask us to perform annual or semi-annual checks on the equipment to verify optimal link performance as part of an overall program of network maintenance. We do not generally recommend this service, however we're happy to provide it on request.
